Debra Bray Jenkins CEO & Marc Jenkins Sr. COO are the founders of Preventive Healthcare Direct. A healthcare company dedicated to preventing the “event” of disability and diseases for some of the leading causes of death. Operating under the umbrella of Preventive Healthcare Direct (pHd) is pHd Sports, Symmetry Massage & Healthy Now Wellness. 

Professional Experience

Before devoting her work full-time to pHd, Debra began her nursing career in 1994, working as a Nurse Intern and then as a Registered Nurse at University Hospital Health System for ten years. Then began working at Cleveland Clinic in Cleveland, Ohio for fifteen years. While at University Hospital she worked in the Neuro Intensive Care Stepdown Unit, the Kidney/Liver Unit, Telemetry, Rainbow Babies & Children’s Hospital on the Respiratory Unit, and then on the Medical Surgical Unit.

During her fifteen plus years at The Cleveland Clinic Hospital she worked as a Float Pool Registered Nurse in the Emergency Department, Neuro Intensive Care Unit, Adult Rehab and Adult Telemetry.

Once certified as a Family Nurse Practitioner she moved to Las Vegas, Nevada where she began working for Apollo Medical Group in Behavioral Medicine, Intravenous Therapy for 2 years.

In 1995, Debra became a License Managing cosmetologist working at two of the top hair salons in Cleveland Styling Divas & Vess Hair Motions.

In 2006, Debra earned a Post Degree from Cuyahoga Community College in Massage Therapy. Passing the medical board became a Licensed Massage Therapist in 2008 and started Symmetry Massage and Spa LLC. Earning a contract with Akron General Hospital. Symmetry Massage was one of the first companies in Cleveland to do resistive stretching on Cleveland athletes at that time.

In 2012, Debra became the President of the Nurses’ Unit at Calvary Church of God in Christ under Superintendent Gregory Jordan for 10 years. Debra coordinated Health Fairs and partnered the church with The American Red Cross where she became an Ambassador for The Red Cross on Stroke Awareness and Hypertension.
